Members of the Youthunited Cabinet at the Enbridge CN Tower Climb for United Way, clockwise from tower base: Bjorn Nordin, Sara Tekle, Farzaneh Fard, Jennifer Kim, Andrea Chiu, Zack Sandor, Rahma Azeem, Henry Dang, Raymond Ngu and Jerome Jeganathan.

The Youthunited Cabinet is a group of teenagers who volunteer their time and leadership skills to United Way Toronto.  Cabinet members advise on marketing initiatives, network with other teens, recruit Youthunited Ambassadors, volunteer with United Way member agencies and make presentations about youth philanthropy in both school and corporate settings.

It’s a big job!

It’s a fun job!

The Youthunited Cabinet is a great opportunity for teens looking to enhance their leadership skills, gain practical work experience and work toward scholarships.  And, of course, there is the fun stuff like agency tours, holiday volunteering, and the Community Day of Caring!

For us here at United Way, the Cabinet is essential to the development of youth philanthropy and invaluable for their creativity, passion, experience and energy!

Are you interested in applying? Check back in Spring 2009 when we will be posting for new Youthunited cabinet roles!
