United we can build a better future for all
2008 was an extraordinary year. Financial markets in turmoil. Jobs disappearing. Family, friends and neighbours struggling. Few, if any, are untouched.
That so many individuals and companies contributed so generously in these difficult times is a testament to the spirit of compassion and hope that defines hundreds of thousands of caring organizations, families and individuals across the city of Toronto.
Their shared vision of a better future for everyone enables United Way and its network of agencies to continue to reach out across our city and into our communities to strengthen neighbourhoods and improve lives.
United Way celebrates the individual Leadership donors and outstanding organizations whose remarkable generosity and dedication fuels our efforts and sustains our vision.
Without you, there would be no way.
