Suncor Energy was the top fundraising team raising close to $112,000, an increase of close to 14% over last year.

U of T doubled their fundraising achievement from 2009 and raised over $14,000 with 356 climbers.

Gary McNeil from Metrolinx raised over $18,000 for United Way's Community Fund. Gary has won a fabulous weekend getaway for two to sunny California courtesy of Tour East Holidays and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. This grand prize is valued at over $2,000. Thank you Gary, for supporting the 20009 Enbridge CN Tower Climb!

Mary Lou Jorgensen-Bacher from the Ministry of Labour has won a Tonino Lamborghini watch valued at $1,999. She was one of over 20 participants who raised $2,500+ eligible to enter a draw to win this fabulous prize. Congratulations to Mary Lou who raised over $10,000 for United Way's Community Fund!
» Top Youth Fundraising Prize
Eleven year old Marcus Tanko who raised close to $700 for United Way at the Enbridge CN Tower Student Climb. Marcus wins a Family Total Tower pass and CN Tower Prize Pack valued at $200. Congratulations and thank you Marcus!
2010 Events
- Scotiabank Rat Race for United Way: Thursday June 10
Toronto streets were infested with "rats" on June 10, 2010, as 1,200 runners scurried through downtown as part of the 10th Annual Scotiabank Rat Race for United Way. Many of the racing rodents ran the 5km scurry in "cheesy" rat-inspired costumes.
Pledges raised by participants will support United Way's network of 200 health and social service agencies, as well as support long-term programs and initiatives in Toronto's inner suburban neighbourhoods. » Read more...

United Way's 2009 campaign takes off with a Million Dollar Boost
Hundreds of United Way supporters packed the main lobby of First Canadian Place to launch the 2009 United Way Toronto Campaign. Frances Lankin, president & CEO, United Way Toronto, was joined by the 2009 Campaign Chair, Bill Downe, president and CEO, BMO.
