Feature Performer: Team Ryouko
Toronto’s premiere extreme martial arts performance team is a unique blend of martial arts, acrobatics, and break dancing. The group has evolved from live theatre shows to working in film and TV with names like Jet Li, Vin Diesel, Samuel L. Jackson, Jason Stathem, and Jackie Chan.
The team consists of Olympic-calibre martial artists and trampolinists, competitive break-dancers and hip-hop dancers, and professional stunt performers from movies and television.
The group has performed around the globe and have an Internet audience reach of over 500,000/year.
Team Ryouko is formed by The Inspirational Education Program Foundation (IEP). IEP is a non-profit organization committed to inspiring, educating and empowering youth in order to reduce obesity, violence and drug abuse. Instead of reinforcing the negative aspects of these youth-related issues, IEP focuses on the benefits of choosing progressive fitness programs and active lifestyles.
