• United Way Toronto is a member of United Way of Canada - Centraide Canada. A national organization supported by 122 member United Ways - Centraides in Canada, it acts as a voice for its members within the Canadian and international voluntary sector. It also provides leadership, programs and services to members.
• Across Canada, 122 United Ways - Centraides work in local communities to improve the quality of life for people in need.
• Each local United Way is autonomous and independent.

Areawide United Ways

The Areawide partnership is a cooperative of the four United Ways in the Greater Toronto Area: Oakville, Peel Region, Toronto and York Region. This alliance enables large corporations to run seamless cooperative campaigns.
