United Way of Canada - Centraide Canada
- United Way Toronto is a member of United Way of Canada - Centraide Canada. A national organization supported by 122 member United Ways - Centraides in Canada, it acts as a voice for its members within the Canadian and international voluntary sector. It also provides leadership, programs and services to members.
- Across Canada, 122 United Ways - Centraides work in local communities to improve the quality of life for people in need.
- Each local United Way is autonomous and independent.
Areawide United Ways
The Areawide partnership is a cooperative of the five United Ways in the Greater Toronto Area: Peel Region, York Region, Ajax-Pickering-Uxbridge, Oakville and Metro Toronto. This alliance enables large corporations to run seamless cooperative campaigns.
